Tom
Age: 22
Style: Young. Friendly. Approachable. Clear and well-paced. Neutral RP accent, though able to do a range of regional accents. Excellent tonal and inflective range.
A full time print journalist and part time radio presenter, Tom is a recent graduate of the University of London, with a degree in Politics and International Relations.
Tom has been broadcasting professionally since the age of 15, when he was selected as the presenter for a weekend breakfast show on a local GWR station.
Since then, Tom has broadened his broadcasting horizons, encompassing a number of presenting roles at different radio stations across the South West, small scale voiceover work, and writing and producing a podcast for his university’s student newspaper.
Whilst his presenting experience has given him a fun, personable voice which appeals to audiences of all ages, his experience in broadcast journalism working for ITN and Global Traffic Network means Tom is also ideal for situations where a more serious, paced and authoritative tone is required.
