Successful Presentations for Sales

A presentation is a great sales opportunity. Someone has offered the time, the audience and the attention – at least for the start ! 

Our sales presentation coaching service covers everything from creating compelling content, to making the best use of Powerpoint and crucially giving all presenters confidence in their ability to deliver regardless of the size of audience or venue.

`The person or team who is / are to deliver a key presentation and / or those who need coaching on how to deliver professional, confident and successful presentations.

How it works :

We focus on the 3 key aspects that make a presentation successful – delivery style, use of voice and compelling, relevant content.

Content  – things we cover include :

  1. Listening to the business explain the objective of the presentation then observing a run through.
  2. Offering advice and tips on improving the presentation – this will include taking into account the audience the venue, time available, expectation from those being presented to, handling questions and interruptions.
  3. Checking that the presenter follows the simple ‘rules’ of telling the audience what is coming up (introduction) telling them (presentation) and telling them what you have told them (summary)
  4. If Powerpoint is involved ensuring it is used as a script not a prompt – the style and enthusiasm of the presenter counts for more than slides laden with text and long sentances.
  5. Help, if necessary, redraft the presentation

Delivery :

  1. Through body language and use of voice we help you develop a professional, confident and compelling performance that will encourage the audience to ‘buy’ from you.
  2.  We review the original presentational style and then look at enhancement opportunities. These are then rehearsed  to help you develop become confident in your presentational style and skills.
  3.  For voice we will ensure you make the most of the following :
  • vocal tone
  • inflection
  • volume control
  • pace
  • powerful vocabulary
  • We call this voice optimisation

Timescale

This coaching is best served over a day and ideally with a presentation that is being planned by the business – this enables an immediate opportunity for a return on the investment.

We break the day down into 4 parts :

Part One – Presentation of Content as it stands

Part Two – Feedback / Coaching on content and delivery

Part Three –  Redraft / Rehearse / Represent

Part Four – Role play – we play the prospective audience – you win us over with a cracking presentation.

Matthew specialises in voice coaching.

Trevor Lee has been undertaking presentations for many years at all levels, from monthly board meetings, to conferences, one to one with customers, and groups of staff members in his roles as Sales, Commercial and Managing Director of Cornwall & Devon Media. Trevor is an enthusiastic and dynamic presenter who was coached on presenting at the Ashridge Business School.

Your Investment

 A day’s coaching for up to 4 people as described above is £895 +vat

Bespoke packages for key presentations – £125 per hour + vat

Price excludes cost of an external venue should that be required and travelling at 45p per mile + vat

Follow Up

We offer a follow up service to ensure those who have experienced the coaching maintain their skills and confidence.

We can also help with the preparation and rehearsal for major presentations to be delivered by either those we have coached or other members of your team.

If required we can execute the presentation on your behalf.
