The coalition government has announced the outcome of its deliberations over the 56 submissions received from across the UK to form Local Enterprise Partnerships.

Ministers have confirmed the bid to form an LEP for Cornwall & Isles of Scilly has been successful.

Now begins the tough task of putting it into action – bringing together two councils and business on an equal footing to shape the future.
