There was both good and bad news for Cornwall Airport this month. On the 4th January, there came news that the airport was linking to Wales with a daily service to Cardiff. However, we hear now that the service to Gatwick is being stopped next month.
Bosses at Air SouthWest say they want to continue with the other services and are seeking ways of working with Flybe.
Cornish business depends on air services, railways and roads. Because of this, and as we are deep in bleak times, our political representatives must work hard so that we may be able to keep the links to our country.
