It was terrible news seeing towns and villages in East Cornwall washed out with flooded waters – bringing back memories of the Boscastle flood. Cornwall has always been exposed to the elements, which while they have caused destruction at times, have also offered opportunities. The seas have provided fish while the winds now generate electricity.
